LA DOTD Federal Credit Union was established in February 1939 with the original mission to provide comprehensive financial services to Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LA DOTD) employees and their family members. Over the years, our field of membership has grown to include LA DOTD contractors and consultants, along with other diverse Corporate Partners. More recently, we've expanded our field of membership to include several communities. If you or your immediate family members live, work, worship or attend school in Livingston, Calcasieu or Cameron Parishes, you can join, too!  Click here to view our 2007 Annual Report.

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account. What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you.  We will also ask to see your driver's license or other identifying documents.

The benefits of membership last a lifetime. Once you're a member of the Credit Union, you may remain a member for life, even if you terminate your employment with the business through which you originally qualified for membership.

Am I Eligible to Join?
Membership in LA DOTD Federal Credit Union is open to:

• Any LA DOTD employee.
• Any LA DOTD contractors and consultants employee.
• Any Corporate Partner employee.
• Volunteers of the above organizations.
• People who live, work, worship, or attend school and businesses and other legal entities located in Livingston, Calcasieu or Cameron Parishes.
• Immediate family and household members of existing members and people eligible to join the Credit Union.
• Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership and retirees from the above employment.
